Welcome to Bodmin Yoga…

…where you can be at home with your yoga practice, whatever shape it takes

Sophie set up Bodmin Yoga during covid, having taught yoga across different venues in Cornwall for several years.

The aim was to make a space in central Cornwall for different teaching voices and a variety of movement practices, where we could deliver high-quality and personally-tailored classes to suit all levels.

This year, Dave has joined the team. At the moment he is helping with the admin side of the business, as well as being Sophie’s husband.

About the Founder

I’m Sophie…

…and I have been teaching yoga for seven years. During that time I have done a lot of training and CPD, and I now teach a blended style of Hatha yoga, drawing on all of my experience.

I try to teach in a lighthearted but trauma-informed style, and I can work with whatever an individual needs on a given day, from nurturing Restorative practices to a challenging Ashtanga sequence.

I enjoy teaching small groups and private clients. If you’re not sure where to start with your yoga practice then please use the contact options and we’ll be only too happy to guide you!

About the Newbie

I’m Dave

I’ve worked with Sophie in other fields for a couple of years, and now am helping out by dealing with some of the administration work of the business.

I am also enjoying the practice of Yoga, as well as keeping myself fit and meeting new friends through the practice.

Moving on from our bricks and mortar studio we are now delivering classes across a range of locations.

Look out for us on Mondays at Lanhydrock memorial hall, and Fridays at Lostwithiel Community Centre. (See maps below) Also please see our booking page for updated times and availability.

We also have pop-up events planned, make sure you’re on our mailing list to see where and when.
